For the third year running, shipping and courier giant FedEx is holding a competition for small businesses, offering major cash prizes. But you have to be in it to win it!
FedEx small business grant
The FedEx small business grant UK competition opened on 17th October. The winner will receive a grand prize of £20,000 and other rewards too. The runner-up will walk away with £10,000.
The competition is open to legal residents of the UK who at the time of entry are over 18 years of age and independent owners/operators of a for-profit small business that:
- Has its registered office in the UK
- Has been in continuous operation for at least six months
- Has filed at least one set of accounts at Companies House.
How to enter
The competition closes on 28th November. To enter, you must make a submission about the history of your business and where you see its future, writing briefly about:
- Your business and the products or services you offer
- What inspired you to start your business and how it stands out and impacts the community
- How you would use the Small Business Grant UK to achieve new possibilities, and take your business to the next level of success
You can include photos and a short video to support your submission.
The top 10 finalists will be announced and receive an email invitation for a second submission on 7th December, and the winners will be revealed on 24th January 2019.
“Gaining access to funding is no simple task and for SMEs it can be increasingly challenging,” says Martin Davidian, managing director sales enterprise national for FedEx Express and TNT.
“At FedEx we want to help them evolve, to have access to more possibilities, to become more competitive and to better support their international endeavours.
“The Small Business Grant provides an opportunity for small businesses to secure that boost to their funding and focus on their growth.”
